段村乡石门沟大牛心柿,是渑池县的一大特产,它以个大、肉细、汁多、味甜而著称。平均单果重250克,最大的重480克,无核或少核。脱涩吃脆酥利口,烘吃汁多甘甜,晒制的柿饼质地软,糖度高,别具风味,吃起来软甜可口,往往使人有食后复思的欲感。将柿饼放入凉水中搅拌,能化成柿浆,可和蜂蜜媲美。据先辈传,这种柿饼在清代曾被作为贡品进奉朝廷。近年来又试销国外,颇受欢迎。
大牛心柿,被列为全国优良果树品种之一。其状牛心,皮薄味甜,故称牛心柿。幼树栽培后4~5年开始挂果,20年后进入盛果期,单株产量150-250公斤,10月中旬成熟,杏黄色。原有大树(包括石门沟以内)3700多株,分布在海拔500-700米之间的黄土丘陵区山坡梯田地和河溪沿岸。

Big Ox-heart Persimmon is a national excellent fruit variety, which is ox-heart shaped, thin-skinned and sweet tasted so that it is called in this way. It is a specialty in Mianchi County well-known for its big bodies, fine and smooth sarcocard, succulency and sweet taste with no or few nuclear. It can eat in various ways: if deastringented, it's crisp; if dried or warmed in the fire, it's succulent and sweet; if made into dried persimmon, it is soft, sweet and aromatic. Put dried persimmon into cold water and stir, we can get persimmon pulp which is equal to honey. It's said that this dried persimmons have ever regarded as tributes in Qing Dynasty. In recent years, they are tried to sell to foreign countries and are well welcomed.
