河南省内乡县1984年果树资源调查时,也发现了一种冬梨,它的成熟期在n月底至12月上旬,并可贮放到翌年4月。
       
    冬梨目前主要存在于内乡县北部深山区的马山、七里坪两乡交界处的宝夭坦自然保护区南面。据调查,解放初平原丘陵也较多,1958年大炼钢铁时基本毁尽。现在全县约有37株冬梨树。 冬梨树生长慢,寿命长,耐膺薄,产量高而稳。七里坪乡靳河村深山独居户刘宝聚家有4株冬梨树,最大树近百年,胸径18·3厘米,干高2.4米,冠高3.5 米,冠幅4.7米,单株产量2985年520斤,1986年430斤。
        
    冬梨成熟时果面金黄色,果实倒卵形,单果重150一160克,肉质细白,味香脆甜,品质好。
        
    冬梨具有润肺止咳的特殊疗效,常备用于防治老人气管炎等疾病。


    
    Neiciang winter pears mainly exist in deep mountain regions in the Northern Neixiang County. This pear tree grows slowly but has a long lifetime, high and steady yield and can resist dead soil. The fruits get mature from end of November to the beginning of December and can be stored till next April. They are in golden yellow color and inverted ovate shapes, which have good quality and taste. A single one weights 150 to 160g. Winter pears can nourish spleen and quit cough, and are always used to prevent old people's tracheitis.
