    Lion Dance is very common in Xingyang, where almost every village in this county has their own lion dance group. A very famous one is Jiangtou Lion Dance Group, which has a history of over 100 years. The members are skillful, dexterous and the lion is vivid, lively and brisk. In 1953, the most authority media in Henan, Henan Daily reported its wonderful show when they played a program in Chenggao County. From 1980, lion dance group in Wangcun Village and Sishui County develop very quick even being inclined to surpass other old groups. Wangcuh Lion Dance Group has been invited to play in Beijing many times. Besides, some difficult programs like Flock of Lions Rollick in Spring, Bowl Balls on Moving Board, etc, appear now and then.
