开封县范村所产的石榴，个大皮薄，粒大味甜，历史悠久，远销国内外，名铁皮石榴。
      
    范村铁皮石榴主要产地集中在范村、谢湾、杨岗、瓦屋里、张田等村。范村石榴种类繁多，从皮色分铁皮石榴、青皮石榴、白皮石榴。铁皮石榴籽大甘甜，皮较厚，易保存，据说可以保存一年之久。青白皮石榴皮薄籽较小，手指轻轻掐则裂开两半，味亦甜，籽粒如红玛瑙，好看好吃助消化，长时间存放不变质。
