太康桑白皮

    桑白皮以其色白而得名。又名桑皮、桑根白皮等。以身干、皮厚、色白、无粗皮、粉性足者为佳。味甘、微苦，性寒。       
       
    桑白皮具清肺平喘、行水消肿之功能，主治肺热咳嗽喘息，吐血、水肿胀满，小便不利等症。河南桑白皮以太康县所产质地柔软坚韧，色白汁足，药力最佳。




    White Mulberry Root-bark is named after its white color with another name of Root Bark of White Mulberry which tastes sweet, a little bitter and is in cold nature. The best ones are those with dried bodies, thick but not rough skins, white color and enough mealiness.
